Kemp Truck Collection

Complete Liquidation to Settle Estate

Hillsborough, New Hampshire

Saturday, July 25th at 9:30 a.m.

The truck and equipment collection of Richard Kemp, who passed away in September of 2007, will be auctioned without reserve.  Known throughout the Northeast as Kemp’s Truck Museum, this collection consists of over 90 vintage trucks, more than 50 vintage tractors, cranes and crawlers and several buildings full of parts, tools, souvenirs, toys and memorabilia.  Of interest to antique truck collectors will be the large number of early Macks.  Also in the collection are several Sterlings, International Harvesters and Brockways.   Other familiar names include Ford, Dodge, Autocar, GMC, White, Linn, FWD, Oshkosh and Reo.  Folks with an interest in early tractors, cranes and crawlers will find many early Caterpillar and Cletrac crawlers, along with such names as Bay City, Koehring, Buffalo Springfield, International Harvester, Hough, Clark, Ford and others.

AUCTION MANAGER’S NOTE:  This collection was amassed over an extended period of time by Mr. Kemp. The description of items has been compiled, to the best of our ability, from information provided by the estate, its appraiser, several of Mr. Kemp’s former associates and an inspection by our own personnel. We cannot guarantee the accuracy of the model, year of manufacture, or associated components of any vehicle.

In preparing for this sale, we have not attempted to start any vehicles and potential buyers should be aware that many of these items have not been run for several years. With the exception of Lots #308, #309 and #310, there are no titles for these vehicles. The successful bidders will be provided with a notarized bill of sale from the Estate of Richard A. Kemp (form NH TDMV 22A) and a verification of vehicle identification (form NH TDMV 19A). Several of the older vehicles have missing identification numbers and that is so noted on the forms.
