PERSONAL PROPERTY: Of particular note is a grouping of Photography owned by Henry A. Strohmeyer. Strohmeyer and Wyman were one of the leading stereoscopic card photographers in the United States at the turn of the last century. Included are 11 cards with notations by Strohmeyer with images of President Taft, McKinley, Teddy Roosevelt, and The Treaty at Portsmouth. Also 3 large cases with approximately 300 Magic Lantern slides by Strohmeyer printed by Underwood & Underwood. Also a correspondence to a niece that states that he is the photographer of the above mentioned 11 signed and annotated stereo cards. Also Ephemera relating to Strohmeyer; an impressive Russian samovar-this Russian Samovar was presented to Rear Admiral William Mayhew Folger by the Russian Delegates at the signing of the Treaty at Portsmouth.
